LuphiTouch Polymide FPC Membrane Switch Membrane Keypad: 
FPC or FPCB means flexible printed circuit board. The main consists materials for FPC are copper and Polymide. Made of flexible dielectric base material and main material is Polyimide CCL, which is pressed with cover film with mechanical protection and good dielectric properties. FPC is also classified by SS, DS and ML. DS&ML get a conductivity by metalization.
The FPC circuit is widely used on many membrane switches for many reasons, like easily flex and fold, high reliability, high environment stability, low impedance, freely arrange by the lay-out to get the integrity of component assembly and conductor. The FPC circuit membrane switch is widely used in aviation, military, medical, industrial control etc. The common used FPC circuit in membrane switch is single side FPC and double sided FPC. Once in a while will use multi-layer FPC.
If the circuit layer for membrane switch is copper FPC, then we need Gerber file. But sometimes the customer doesn't have the Gerber file then we will help customer to design the Gerber file as per the provided schematic diagram.
Components Assembly:
As we know, most of membrane switches will need assemble different electronic components on its circuit. For example, the resistors, LEDs, capacitors, ICs, transistors, light sensors, connectors etc. LuphiTouch has SMT factory can do this assembly. We have 4 SMT lines, and have two AOI inspection machines, can guarantee the production efficiency and assembly quality.
RFQ: What kind of overlay materials do you usually use for your FPCmembrane switches?
Answer: The common used overlay materials for our FPC membrane switches are Autotex Polyester, Sabic Polycarbonate and Tekra Polyester;
FAQ: What kind of adhesives fo you use for your FPCmembrane switches?
Answer: The common adhesives we used for our FPC membrane switches are 3M adhesives, like 3M467, 3M468, 3M7961, 3M9672, 3M9448, 3M9495, 3M9731 etc.
FAQ: Can you provide circuit design service?
Answer: Yes, we can provide the circuit design service for customers. They just need provide us the schematic diagram. We will design the circuit drawng to customer and modify it until customer satisfied.
FAQ: Will you provide function testing service before the shipment?
Answer: Yes, we will. Frankly speaking, the function to membrane switch is very important. If no function then no matter how nice of the product be looked like, it will be no sense. In LuphiTouch® we must make 100% full electrical function testing twice. When the membrane switch is just a semi-finished status we make the first circuit function testing and then make second function function testing after the product be finished assembly.
